 i dont understand, you say they have equal strength and power yet goku is in his mssj state, that doesnt make sense, he's already stronger than 17 at that point

It's not that anyone's saying Android 17 = [Cell Games] SSJ Goku... the idea is to pretend they are equals, and then discuss who would win if they were.

 I find it next to impossible to root against Goku in a fight where he's not even an underdog. Somehow, he should find a way to win. That's a tendency for Goku.

 This is Goku we're talking about. He's got the skills and drive to win a fight even if he's at a disadvantage. Goku can win this, but he has to do it quickly before he loses any stamina. I'd say Goku wins 6 out of 10 times.
